About the Founder

Built from a lifetime of thinking about operations

I began my career in hospitality as a member of the opening team at The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner. That experience taught me something that has stayed with me ever since:

Exceptional operations create exceptional experiences.

I later earned a B.S. in Systems Engineering and an M.S. in Operations Research from George Washington University, where I studied how to design, coordinate, and optimize complex systems. 

In 2004, I founded Htet Property Corporation. Managing vendors across properties—COIs, W-9s, expiring docs—was all email and spreadsheets. Whiss is the system I wish I had. 

Whiss was created to bring that information together.

Today, that starts with vendor compliance.

Over time, Whiss can help organizations coordinate vendors, documents, requirements, and workflows that keep their operations moving.

Our Mission

Make vendor-dependent operations simpler, more reliable, and easier to manage. Whiss is designed to make vendor information reusable—so organizations don't have to chase what Whiss already knows, and vendors don't have to start over every time they work with someone new.

We start with vendor compliance—collecting the documents and information organizations need, checking them against requirements, and giving operations teams a clear view of what's ready and what needs attention.
